Positive change
May 2025
This week we hosted the first Breakfast Session in our Positive Change Series.
The topic was ‘how do you make people care about what you do when there’s so much to care about?’ We were joined by Ella Jenkins from Thinks who shared behavioural strategies for getting attention, and Kindred’s Co-MD Sharon Bange who talked through techniques for media cut-through.
Our attendees gave their own insights and experiences. Here are our top three take-outs:
Unpick your audience – their preferences and their personalities. Generalising can work in earned media, but you need to dig deeper for insights that really boost relevance.
Don’t lose sight of long-term goals for short-term gains. With an insight-led strategy based on behavioural thinking, there’s space for both.
Sweat everything. Plan, plan and plan some more to make sure your content and assets have as long a life as possible.
Our next event will tackle explaining the unexplainable. Let us know if you want to find out more!
