Drive reappraisal of Epson as ‘just’ a paper printer business across Europe by showing the possibilities of its technologies in tackling environmental issues.
How we made positive changeSince 1942, Epson has been guided by the principle of ‘sho sho sei’. An approach to sustainability that focuses on compact, efficient, and precise innovation. Inspired by this, we created ‘More than meets the eye’ to give Epson an engaging, storytelling framework to showcase Epson’s longstanding commitment to responsible innovation and environmental stewardship. Our first campaign centred on fashion’s water waste problem. To show how Epson innovation can reduce consumption, we partnered with designer PATTERNITY to create Water Silks; a collection of scarves inspired by the waterways of Europe’s fashion capitals. Putting the issue on people’s radars, the scarves were launched ahead of global fashion week season along with research revealing the worrying water footprint of our wardrobes.
