New work
August 2025
One in two new mums say they’ve found it harder to cope with their mental wellbeing since having a baby and 43% have considered having counselling for this, but haven’t accessed it.
To help mums feel that they are not alone navigating this new chapter, we created the Positive Steps campaign for the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
The campaign saw powerful and personal stories detailing the mental health challenges faced by a range of new mums – and how therapy helped them – brought to life on a popular buggy route in South London. Izzy Judd, author and mum to three children, backed the campaign and shared her story of therapy, encouraging other new mums to access it.
The campaign has achieved 109 pieces of coverage to date including BBC News online, Stylist, Daily Express and Closer Magazine.
