New work
November 2024
As fireworks season kicks in, we’re working with the RSPCA on a campaign to foster positive community cohesion by encouraging people to talk to their neighbours before setting off fireworks. Our ‘Kind Sparks’ campaign involves a community guide, interactive map, toolkit for local authority lobbying and a partnership with Nextdoor – all aimed at helping fireworks users to understand the impact backyard displays have on their neighbours, pets, local farmers and wildlife.
It’s backed by research that found half of pet owners say Bonfire Night is one of the most stressful times of the year and 40% feel awkward talking to their neighbours about it. The campaign is fronted by pet lover, Kate Lawler, and has rocketed with over 160 pieces of coverage so far including ITV, inews, Joe.co.uk and Metro.
