New work
August 2026
It’s only been a minute since our last campaign for the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and we’re back with another cracker! This time, building on last year’s Positive Steps.
Our research for this year’s campaign – The Parenting Grind – found that new mums and dads are nearly twice as likely to feel unprepared for the emotional transition parenthood brings (39%) compared to the practical side (21%). Our aim was to show how therapy could help them navigate this change.
We took a coffee van to parks across the UK, sharing unfiltered stories from parents who have benefited from therapy on the side of coffee cups, with information from BACP registered therapists. Alongside our brilliant case studies of real parents (some of which joined us on the tour for a much-needed morning brew), the campaign was supported by parenting author, broadcaster and BACP registered therapist Kate Silverton, who shared her expert advice for new parents.
So far, the campaign has featured in a prime-time spot on Good Morning Britain, the i Paper, and on 25+ stations – with lots more coverage to come. Find out more here.
